The boys from River City Ransom are taking a break from dodgeball and getting back into street fighting. Hangame, the company Square Enix teamed up with to release Concerto Gate, said Nekketsu Kunio-Kun Online is in a testing phase. Essentially Nekketsu Kunio-Kun Online is a Double Dragon-style beat em up mixed with a MMORPG. You talk to NPCs, get quests, set up parties, and then punch everything in sight with your custom created Kunio-Kun character. The whole thing is controlled with a keyboard so you move with the arrows, pick up stuff with “F”, and attack with S/D. Fees for the game haven’t been announced, but it might be time to get a Hangame ID just to try the game out before it gets released elsewhere.
