Back in November 2017, Niantic revealed that it would be working on Harry Potter: Wizards Unite for Android and Apple iOS devices. An augmented reality game like Pokemon GO and Ingress, it will make players wizards who can deal with legendary beasts and use magic in the world around them. However, while it had a tentative 2018 release window, Pottermore has revealed its new launch window is 2019.

In addition to the 2019 release window, a new Harry Potter: Wizards Unite logo and teaser trailer have been released. This one has Harry’s, Hermoine’s, and Ron’s wands coming together to form the “A” in “Wizards.” Pottermore also pointed out that the “S” in “Wizards” is designed to look like the one in the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movie logo, which would make sense since the early Niantic announcement did mention fighting various sorts of beasts alone or with other players.
