Even anime icon Haruhi Suzumiya couldn’t resist GREE, the mobile phone social network service with Knighs of the Crystal and Yakuza games. Nexon Mobile developed The Union of Haruhi Suzumiya, so fans can interact with the SOS Brigade when reality gets boring.

 

This mobile phone title has a mix of quests and mini-games to complete. While The Union of Haruhi Suzumiya is free, Nexon plans on microtransctions to make a profit. Register early and you get a bento box (digital item) as a bonus.

 

The Union of Haruhi Suzumiya service kicks off on June 15 in Japan. Nexon plans to have in-game events, but didn’t specify what those are.
