Shortly after I posted up some sleuthing pointing to a Harvey Birdman delay, DiscoJer brought the question directly Capcom on their message boards. Christian Svensson acknowledged the delay with this statement,
“The game is and has been finished, submitted and approved, however we felt releasing the game on the same day 112 other SKUs released was not ideal for its chances. Retail buyers agreed.
As such, we've opted to move the title out into a slightly cleaner release window. This will allow us to get on more shelves, do a bit more outreach to the media and hopefully get the fans in on the action a bit more.”
OK. So it doesn’t look like we’re going to see Harvey Birdman this year. However, the final and brilliant installment in the Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney goes on sale this week. That should tide over objections in the meantime right?
