haseoCyberConnect2 is working on a new .hack game, according to the latest issue of Famitsu. Development for the new game started alongside the anime film, which will premiere on January 21. CyberConnect2 is saving details until then, but trickled out a few bits of data for fans.

The new .hack game takes place in 2025 and a few images show .hack://G.U. hero “Haseo” in them, but it isn’t clear if it’s the same character.
