Hatsune Miku DLC Launches for Crypt of the NecroDancer

Brace Yourself Games announced the immediate launch of a new DLC for dungeon-crawling rhythm game Crypt of the Necrodancer that features the Vocaloid Hatsune Miku. The DLC is available now for the PC and Playstation 4, and it will come to Nintendo Switch on April 11, 2024.

The new DLC, which was teased in an a April Fool’s day tweet by the developers, features Miku herself as a playable character with her own abilities, including singing and hitting enemies with a leek. Picking up a set of armor while playing as her will also dress her in an official Miku outfit, and there are 15 extra music tracks to listen to while you play. Two of these songs are by the the original NecroDancer composer Danny Baronowsky. The DLC is currently available for $1.79 under an introductory offer, and will be $1.99 normally.

Back in late March, 2024, Good Smile Company announced a new scale figure of Hatsune Miku based on her appearance in the music video for “World is Mine”. Before that, Mayla released a set of Miku-themed pumps back in January, 2024.

The Hatsune Miku DLC pack for Crypt of the NecroDancer is available now on Steam and Playstation, and is set to arrive on Nintendo Switch on April 11, 2024. The game itself is available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.
