The Live Quest Mode will have players choose quests that are spread across five different areas. Clearing these stages will level up Miku and friends, and it’ll be done by filling up a certain amount of Voltage in the stages.

The “Diva Room” from past titles will also be here, and this time it’ll be the base of the Live Quest Mode. As you advance through quests, you’ll see various events and interactions with Miku and her friends.

“Rush Notes” are another new feature in Project Diva X. You’ll see notes with the word “Rush” shown below them, and when those appear, you’ll need to repeatedly press the corresponding buttons for more points.

Here’s a look at stages and Modules for some of the tracks for the game.

Project Diva X will have a new way of acquiring Modules, as it’ll be luck-based with the “Chance Time” feature through clearing requirements for quests. The Modules you get will be acquired randomly this way, but quests will have higher chances of dropping certain Modules.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X will release in Japan in March 2016 for PlayStation Vita and fall 2016 for PlayStation 4.
