Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X Video Shows Off Its RPG-Style Live Quest Mode

Sega’s upcoming rhythm game, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X, is releasing on PS Vita later this month, and Famitsu put together a video to demonstrate its new “Live Quest Mode.”

In Live Quest Mode, there are areas that have the attributes of Neutral, Cute, Cool, Beauty, and Chaos. In order to get the best bonuses from it, you can match your equipment accordingly to go with these attributes, so costumes will mean more than just looks in this mode.

The main objective of Live Quest Mode is to accumulate Voltage by clearing rhythm game quests. The Voltage is then used to fill up Gems that are found in each area, and by filling them up all the way, you’ll advance through the game’s story. You can learn more about how it works in our earlier reports here and here.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X will release in Japan for PlayStation Vita on March 24th, 2016, and in fall 2016 for PlayStation 4.
