A new Hatsune Miku Project Voltage song is live, and this latest one features a number of Pokemon trainers and rivals from different entries in the series, ranging from Red in Pokemon Blue/Green/Red/Yellow to Florian and Juliana from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The track is called “Crossroad.” It is also part of a measure to celebrate Miku Day, which is held every year on March 9th (3/9). It’s only online now and isn’t part of any official CD or soundtrack yet like past tracks.

The composer for “Crossroad” is Kz, whose previous songs include tracks like “Catch the Wave,” “Decorator,” “Far Away,” “Star Story,” “Tell Your World,” “Weekender Girl,” and “Yellow.” (All of those also appeared in Hatsune Miku: Project Diva games.) Taku Inoue worked alongside Kz on the lyrics and arrangement. He is known for work on songs for The Idolmaster and Katamari series.

The beginning of the music video for this Hatsune Miku track begins by showing all the player trainer characters showing up at a crossroad sign. Then, we see Hatsune Miku and Meloetta walking toward that same sign. We see her meet a number of characters like Eevee and Rookidee as she walks through locations from the Pokemon series alongside Meloetta.

Around the two minute mark, we start to see other Pokemon series trainers and rivals from games coming up. Some of the featured meetings include Gloria with Hop, Florian with Arven, Red and Leaf with Blue, and Elio and Selene with Hau, Gladion, and Lillie.

Lots of tracks in this crossover collaboration keep appearing, even after the “last” song appeared in 2024. While Pokemon themselves are often featured, we do see human characters from time to time too. For example, a track from September 2025 focused on N and Team Plasma
