The PS4 and PS5 are the last of the confirmed Hello Kitty Island Adventure versions to appear, and we’ve been waiting on a release date for each one since the companies confirmed the game would go multiplatform in June 2024. The standard version only came up in the announcement, and that involves the base game. The Deluxe Edition, which is the Switch and Steam release out now, gives a player immediate access to past event items and other item bundles.

As for the Switch Gift Box Edition of Hello Kitty Island Adventure, that will be an upgraded version of the Deluxe Edition with more physical merchandise. It will come with a double-sided poster of the characters, a brief Critter & Fish Guide that lets you check off what you need to find and catch, a Top Secret Top Hat’s Memories folder with pictures, and some Collectible Cards featuring mascots like Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Pom Pom Purin.

Here’s how that bundle looks:

Hello Kitty Island Adventure is on the Switch, PC, and iOS devices via Apple Arcade, and the PS4 and PS5 release date is August 29, 2025.
