Here Are All The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct Reveals

Nintendo aired its The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct to go over the games, new movie, and other announcements tied to the game. All of these things will happen throughout 2026 and 2027. There was also a musical performance of a medley of game themes at the start, which was created specifically for the 40th anniversary of the series.

  • Amiibo of Young Link and Young Zelda will be available for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake – TBD.
  • Electronic Master Sword from Hasbro – TBD. 
  • Heroes of Hyrule Figure Collection of Link, Ganondorf, and Zelda – May 1, 2027.
  • The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary concert series announced – Starts January 23, 2027 in Tokyo first, with North American, European, and Australian tours planned in to start in February 22, 2027, April 3, 2027, and May 13, 2027, respectively.
  • The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2 and Pro Controller – October 29, 2026.
  • The Legend of Zelda movie -April 30, 2027.
  • Nintendo Museum – new LOZ ticket designs and exhibit September 9, 2026, photo op section in November 2026.
  • Nintendo Today – Calendar animations and movie updates will be in the app.
  • The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Playable and Electric Ocarina – TBD.
  • The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Switch 2 remake – November 5, 2026.
  • Lego Link & Epona Ocarina of Time set – TBD.
  • Nintendo Switch App Zelda Notes will be compatible with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake – November 5, 2026.

The next game in the series will be The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, and that will show up on the Switch 2 on November 5, 2026. The 40th Anniversary Switch 2 bundle and Pro Controller arrive on October 29, 2026, ahead of that game’s debut.
