HoYoVerse shared the characters appearing on the Honkai: Star Rail Topaz and Seele banners starting on October 27, 2023. Each banner will feature the four-stars Guinaifen, Luka, and Sushang.
Both Topaz and Guinaifen are the two new characters joining Honkai: Star Rail in 1.4. Topaz is a five-star The Hunt character, which means her attacks focus on dealing damage to a single target. As she’s a fire-type, they also deal fire damage when they hit and can Burn an enemy. Guinaifen is also a fire-type character, though she’s a four-star and on the Nihility path. Her attacks can have a splash effect and are more likely to Burn enemies to deal damage over time.
Seele, Luka, and Sushang are all returning characters. Seele has been around since launch. She’s a five-star character who deals Quantum damage. Like Topaz, she’s a Hunt unit focusing damage on single enemies. Her gimmick is that if she defeats an enemy, she gets to take an additional turn. Luka is another Nihility character, this time focusing on physical damage. Sushang also deals physical damage, but she’s a Hunt character like Topaz and Seele.
As a reminder, there are also two Light Cone banners for Topaz and Seele in Honkai: Star Rail starting on October 27, 2023. Topaz’ signature five-star Light Cone is Worrisome, Blissful (The Hunt), while Seele’s is In the Night (The Hunt). Both are the focus of each of their banners. Both banners will also feature the four-star Light Cones The Moles Welcome You (Destruction), Only Silence Remains (The Hunt), and Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat (Nihility) as focus ones.
Honkai: Star Rail is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the Topaz and Seele banners will run between October 27, 2023 and November 14, 2023.
