Here’s Atelier Escha & Logy’s Handsome Hero In A Countdown Trailer

Recommended Videos

The Atelier Escha & Logy Countdown Festival is a series of videos by Gust that will be used to introduce some of the characters in anticipation of Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky’s release later this month. The first part of the series focused on Escha Malier. The next is about the handsome and versatile swordsman/alchemist, Logix Fiscario.

Similar to the Escha edition of the video series, this video will share info that has already been revealed, but director Yoshito Okamura would like to take this opportunity to summarize some of it while showing some new footage and notes.

Logy and Escha have both been assigned to help out at the development team as new officials. Unlike Escha, Logy isn’t from the area and was actually sent from a city of alchemical studies called The Center. As you advance through the story, you will understand more about Logy’s past events.

Okamura notes that this will be the first time they have both male and female protagonists for the series, so he has repeatedly adjusted the contents for Logy’s events, as he aims to get as many players possible to like him.

As a main character of the Atelier series, Gust have made Logy into a naturally acceptable protagonist who doesn’t have any feelings of discomfort around other people or negative thoughts.

Logy might not excel at using items compared to Escha, but he’ll have plenty of skills aside from alchemy, which will make his play style completely different from his female counterpart. In addition, there will be plenty of status ups you’ll be getting from bonuses that will make Logy into an excellent frontline player in combat.

His damage output from items won’t be as strong as Escha’s either, but he’ll make up for it using his item compounding Blitz feature, which will even the gap between the two characters as they level up. Also, let’s not forget about the Double Draw skill that can be used to do even more damage with items.

Okamura also hints that they’ve prepared a high-end special item that will please Atelier fans, which he hopes you’ll get to try with the Double Draw to see for yourselves.

Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky will be released in Japan on June 27th for PlayStation 3.
