Square Enix is teaming with Japan telecom company DoCoMo to bring Dragon Quest X to smartphones and tablets. After the announcement was made, Famitsu got a hands on with Dragon Quest X running on a dTab device.
Dragon Quest X is cloud enabled with the game running on a cluster of servers and data streamed to devices. The cloud version is based on the PC release and has reworked controls to support touchscreen devices.
Dragon Quest X for iPhone, iPad, and tablets is slated for release this winter.
