Here’s Hatsune Miku Rendered On A PlayStation 3

Recommended Videos

Sega has a summer treat for Hatsune Miku fans. Hatsune Miku: Project Diva – Dream Theater takes the Vocaloid idol out of the PSP and brings her to a bigger screen. Literally.

You need a copy of Hatsune Miku: Project Diva, a PSP (no PSPgos, sorry), USB cable, PlayStation 3, and the Dream Theater program to make this work. Once everything is connected, Hatsune Miku is rendered on your TV with PlayStation 3 quality graphics. All saved data from the PSP game transfers over so you can have a PS3 performance of a custom song with Dream Theater.

Even if you’re not a Hatsune Miku fan, this is a neat app. Imagine what Sega could do with their other PSP games like Crush and Valkyria Chronicles 2. The PlayStation Network download arrives in Japan this summer. Pricing has not been announced.
