The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been out for over a month now and widely praised for its design and creativity. However, one of the largest criticisms of the game was of its frame rate, which would dip quite frequently and negatively impact the gameplay experience.

However, the game’s 1.11 update just recently released, at it seems this update addresses the framerate issue. In a new video, Digital Foundry compares gameplay recorded before and applying the update, to see how 1.11 may have changed the framerate. According to their findings, the update did vastly improve the FPS, with the game never dipping below 29 FPS, while, before 1.11, it would frequently fall below 25 FPS.
