While the Nintendo 3DS is on the horizon, South Korea is about to get the Nintendo DSi. Not the Nintendo DSi XL, the regular Nintendo DSi.
Girls’ Generation is helping Nintendo of Korea push the handheld with commercials of the pop group playing with the camera. Nexon, best known for MapleStory, may have an even bigger impact. Nintendo and Nexon made a special MapleStory DS bundle, which comes with the much delayed DS version and this special Nintendo DSi.
See the little MapleStory mushroom by the camera? That makes it a collectible. Korean residents and importers can grab the bundle on April 15 for 237,000 won ($211).
