IO Interactive has revealed Hitman III, the conclusion to the trilogy that brings Agent 47 back into the fray in a contract assignment that will become his greatest achievement in his career.
The game will take Agent 47 to new heights… literally, with one assignment taking place in a high-rise building that reaches above the clouds. Some gameplay was shown off in the stream after the trailer itself.

Additionally, here’s the gameplay set in Dubai that was shown off on-stream as a separate video below. We see that Agent 47 will need to partially scale the building himself, before infiltrating in order to take down the target.
It should be noted that this trailer is captured in-engine and uses some cinematic camera angles. IO Interactive says that another true gameplay trailer will be shared soon.
According to IO Interactive, you’ll be able to import all locations from Hitman 1 and Hitman 2 to play within Hitman 3 at no additional cost for existing owners, and progression from will also be carried over at launch from Hitman 2 to Hitman 3.
Hitman III is set to release in January 2021 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC. Hitman and Hitman 2 are immediately available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
