In the latest Sega Nama broadcast, Yakuza series creator Toshihiro Nagoshi demonstrated some of its latest gameplay and a glimpse of Yakuza series’ Kazuma Kiryu in the shoes of Kenshiro.

The footage starts at around the 1:01:38 mark of the video, with a look at some gameplay showing the city of Eden. At 1:06:43 we get a look at some exploration on a dune buggy in the Wastelands. We also get a look at some the “Death Batting” mini-game at around 1:14:06 where Kenshiro plays a different kind of baseball using enemies as the ball.

Lastly, we get to see a scene at the 1:16:32 mark in its normal form, followed by a look at what it’s like when playing as Yakuza’s Kazuma Kiryu. If you’re wondering why it seems to fit so perfectly, Kenshiro is voiced by Takaya Kuroda, the voice talent behind Kiryu from the Yakuza series.

The Kiryu transformation will be available through Hokuto ga Gotoku’s Century’s End Premium version for 12,300 yen.

Hokuto ga Gotoku releases in Japan on March 8, 2018 for PlayStation 4.
