Hollow Knight Developer Team Cherry Hasn’t Scheduled Any E3 Announcements

Those hoping for Hollow Knight: Silksong news shouldn’t expect Team Cherry to reveal anything at E3 2021. The developers are active on its Discord and made an announcement.  Matthew “Leth” Griffin, who handles the developer’s PR and marketing, confirmed no news will be at the event. This includes blog posts on the company’s official site. [Thanks, Echo_The_Shadow on Reddit!]

Here is Leth’s exact statement regarding any Hollow Knight: Silksong E3 2021 announcements.

I just wanted to pop in to let you know that Team Cherry does not have any announcements/blogs scheduled for E3 this year.

Originally, Hollow Knight: Silksong was intended to appear as paid DLC for the original game. However, the scope was increased. In February 2019, it was confirmed to be its own game and a sequel. Aside from an E3 2019 appearance as part of Nintendo Treehouse Live, there haven’t been too many updates.

Hollow Knight: Silksong is in development for the Nintendo Switch and PC, and Team Cherry does not have any announcements planned for E3 2021.
