The campaign will begin on March 12, 2024. It will task people to purchase Hololive-branded Dodecamin BIG 600ml bottles in convenience stores across Japan, such as Seven-Eleven, FamilyMart, and Lawson. If a combined total sales amount of four million bottles is recorded by May 13, 2024, Cover will guarantee the publication of a new holoX music video.

Every participant in the campaign can receive bonuses featuring the holoX Vtubers. Each bottle purchase will come with a point that they can use to unlock a downloadable wallpaper for smartphones. They can also spend 3 points to download conversational voices where the Vtubers talk about trips to various regions in Japan. All participants will also be entered into lotteries that reward merchandise like acrylic stands and large tapestries.

The campaign will also encourage each person to buy multiple bottles to earn more rewards. Those who purchase 5 bottles and reach the Bronze rank will be able to download avatar icons of the holoX Vtubers. The Silver rank at 10 bottles will give people a chance to be one of the 50 lucky winners to have their names listed in the upcoming holoX music video. They can also improve their chances for every other 10 bottles purchased. The Gold rank at 15 bottles will come with a special certificate signed by the Vtubers.

A separate sweepstake involving the social media platform X will take place before the primary campaign. Asahi’s official X account will post tweets promoting the crossover on March 8, 2024. People who have an active X account and reside in Japan can join the sweepstakes by reposting the tweets by March 14, 2024. Ten lucky people will win a QUO payment card worth 1,000 yen and a full set of acrylic stands featuring all five holoX Vtubers.

The Hololive – Dodecamin crossover campaign will run in Japan from March 12, 2024, to May 13, 2024.
