Hololive Vtuber Fuwawa Abyssgard announced that Fuwamoco will be down to one performer again for a while as her twin sister Mococo is now on hiatus for health reasons. She appeared alone on about a 10-minute-long stream to make the statement and confirm this wasn’t a graduation announcement. She also noted she will be streaming solo during her sister’s break, though she is taking a few days to assist her, and that their mother is in Japan to help.
When Fuwawa brought up the news, she mentioned she “won’t be going into too much detail.” She said, “…Earlier this year, Moco-chan was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease. There might have been times where she seemed sick or down a lot recently. This is why. It’s been really rough for her. But, despite everything, she really did her best and things were starting to get better. And we were all really happy! But, unfortunately now, it’s gotten bad again. Because of this, we’ve come to the decision that it’s best for her to take some time away to focus on her health for a little while.” She also mentioned that Mococo wanted to be present for the announcement, but wasn’t doing well so they decided to prioritize her resting.

One of the last streaming appearances for Mococo Abyssgard involved the Vtuber joining in on a Hololive Abyss off-collab karaoke stream with Fuwawa, Koseki Bijou, Nerissa Ravencroft, and Shiori Novella. That was held on September 9, 2026. She was then absent for the Bombanana collab stream that involved Fuwawa, Calliope Mori, and Gigi Murin on September 10, 2026.
This follows an earlier hiatus from Fuwawa Abyssgard that the Fuwamoco Hololive Vtuber duo announced back in March 2026. That also was tied to health concerns. While she was away, Mococo streamed solo.
