HoYoVerse confirmed a new Honkai: Nexus Anima Evolution closed beta is in the works and that people can now start to sign-up for the trial. People who log in to their official account for the company can apply at the official site between June 22, 2026 and July 3, 2026. If picked, they’ll be to play Honkai: Nexus Anima on a PC or Android or iOS mobile device when the beta begins on July 0, 2026.
As with the past Honkai: Nexus Anima beta tests, the Evolution one will be closed and not maintain progress. It’s also part of an in-progress look at the Pokemon-like creature collector and battler, so it might not look like the final product. HoYoVerse already confirmed this version will look different than past ones, as it shared a gameplay showcase for this next release that highlights how it looks compared to the previous test builds.

There’s also something of a story trailer called “Until We Meet” that shows off a city, Animaster characters, and some of the creatures we’ll collect.
The system requirements for the PC and Android and iOS mobile versions of Honkai: Nexus Anima came up too. Here’s what someone needs:

There have been many Honkai: Nexus Anima beta tests held ahead of the Evolution one. The first showed up in September 2025. It was followed by the Confidential Test in early 2026. There was an Exploration Project beta test too.
Honkai: Nexus Anima is in development for the PC and mobile devices. The Evolution Test closed beta recruitment will run until July 3, 2026, ahead of the test’s planned start on July 9, 2026.
