HoYoVerse shared more details on the Honkai: Nexus Anima game regarding the Anima character Vulberry, factions in the city, and evolution now that the developer is preparing the Evolution closed beta test. Infographics were released for all three elements, and there’s a YouTube short showing the new character interacting with people in the city. These updates could mean we will also see all three of these elements in the test.
The three Honkai: Nexus Anima factions teased are the Fleming Collective, Nexus Association, and True Nexus Syndicate. The Fleming Collective seems like a capitalist sort of organization from Aurumidas that has a Flemingite representative and works out of Fleming Tower in Ilia. Nexus Association is more peaceful and about coexisting with Anima and rescuing them, with Herocrates working out of Nexus Hall to help the creatures. That group’s hub also is a gathering place during Grand Championships. The True Nexus Syndicate is referred to as a “mafia” and that Nexus Anima should work for humans. Olympia is its Acting Director in Ilia and can be found in the True Nexus Building.
There are three infographics going over those organizations.

In terms of Honkai: Nexus Anima evolution, the infographic looks at the evolutionary line of the Inkifoal. It starts as a small sort of unicorn being. That becomes Inkicorn, which is larger and has a more prominent horn. Its final evolution is Atragasus, which gains a weapon and pegasus-style wings.

As for the Vulberry, it is a Satiation type character in Honkai: Nexus Anima and has an appearance that resembles a dog or fox covered in strawberry jam and cream. Likewise, it loves both items, and there is also apparently a chromatic variant that is more pink than red. The video introducing it shows it “helping” people it passes by tossing strawberry cakes into their faces using its tail. The end of that video shows it in-game playing with a strawberry as though it was a toy.

Honkai: Nexus Anima is in development for the PC and mobile devices. The Evolution Test closed beta recruitment runs until July 3, 2026, and the test starts on July 9, 2026.
