With Catch Kafka, it’s essentially a brief choose your own adventure at an official website. You’ll follow the Trailblazer, Stelle to be specific, and attempt to catch up to the new character. So right away, it will mention containers are blocking Stelle’s way. If you destroy them, you can’t move forward. However, choosing to operate the control panel will let you proceed. If you make it through, you’ll see an image with Kafka and reminder that her banner begins in-game on August 9, 2023. People who share results via Twitter before August 11, 2023 can have a chance of winning merchandise based on the character. People who share also will get a “message” from her on August 9, 2023.

As for the Kafka fan art contest, it works like other Honkai: Star Rail ones. People have until August 31, 2023 to share art, which includes their finished piece and in-progress ones as JPG or PNG files. This can be done via the website or on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter with #Kafka and #FanArtContest put into the posts. These will be judged between September 1-13, 2023, with the winners announced September 13-20, 2023. The first place winner will get $500 and 3,000 Stellar Jades. The three second place winners get $200 and 1,000 Stellar Jades. Five third place artists get $100 and 500 Stellar Jades. Finally, 10 people will get the Lucky Star Prize and get a Kafka acrylic character stand, keychain, and pin.

Honkai: Star Rail is available for the PC and mobile devices. A PS5 version will appear later in 2023. The Honkai: Star Rail Catch Kafka event runs until August 8, 2023, while the fan art contest entries can be submitted until August 31, 2023.
