For the Honkai: Star Rail first anniversary, HoYoVerse introduced a Cosmodyssey event that is a relaxed way to earn rewards and be reminded, in a way, of the Trailblaze Missions you went through so far and get rewards for it. Both your individual and the community’s contributions net you rewards, so it is worth taking a few minutes each day to play.
How do I take part in Cosmodyssey in Honkai: Star Rail?
This event doesn’t involve any sort of strategy or challenge. If you are at Trailblaze Level 21 or higher, you are good to go. You’ll get the message about a package arriving at the Express that brings up the side quest at the Parlor Car to unlock it. Every day, tap the Travel Log for Event Notices when you’re in Honkai: Star Rail. On the Cosmodyssey page tap “go.” Or, you can go to the Astral Express Parlor Car and go to the message from Mag the Nameless to participate. Pom-Pom gives you die to roll each day. Roll them, and you’ll move around the board.
Different spots yield different actions or rewards when you reach them. Landing on controller tiles lets you play a brief minigame like slots or picking cards. A coin tile gives you the Trailblaze Funds you’ll be raising for Pom-Pom. Question mark Encounter Tiles involve events based on activities and instant buffs or rewards. You can buy buffs or items at Shop tiles. There is also an Assignment Tile that, when reached, lets you send off three characters to get rewards a few rolls later.
What are the Cosmodyssey rewards?
Essentially, there are two different ways to get rewards. One is to play firsthand. This nets you the greatest bonuses and typically takes a few minutes each day. (My first time took about twenty minutes, as it involved the tutorial and initial introduction, but subsequent sessions are faster!)
First, here are the rewards you earn by playing the board game:
- Pass the Area: Herta Space Station: 60,000 Credits, 5 Starfire Essences
- Pass the Area: Jarilo-VI: 5 Traveler’s Guides, 5 Starfire Essences
- Pass the Area: Xianzhou Luofu: 60,000 Credits, 5 Starfire Essences
- Pass the Area: Penacony: 5 Traveler’s Guides, 5 Starfire Essences
- Complete All Questions in the Trailblaze Affinity Test: 10 Starfire Essences
- Purchase a Total of 4 Land Tiles: 5 Traveler’s Guides, 10 Starfire Essences, and 60,000 Credits
- Purchase a Total of 8 Land Tiles: 5 Traveler’s Guides, 6 Lost Crystals
- Purchase a Total of 12 Land Tiles: 5 Traveler’s Guides, 4 Refined Aethers
- Purchase a Total of 16 Land Tiles: 5 Traveler’s Guides, 20,000 Credits
- Complete 5 Board Encounters: 6 Lost Crystals, 10 Starfire Essences, 60,000 Credits
- Complete 10 Board Encounters: 5 Traveler’s Guides, 6 Lost Crystals
- Complete 15 Board Encounters: 4 Refined Aethers, 6 Lost Crystals
- Complete 20 Board Encounters: 4 Refined Aethers, 20,000 Credits
- Rolled the Die a Total of 20 Times: 5 Traveler’s Guides, 100,000 Credits
- Rolled the Die a Total of 40 Times: 2 Traveler’s Guides, 40,000 Credits
- Rolled the Die a Total of 60 Times: 2 Traveler’s Guides, 40,000 Credits
- Rolled the Die a Total of 100 Times: 20,000 Credits
Here are the individual contribution rewards you get for hitting certain Trailblaze Funds currency milestones:
- 400,000: 60 Stellar Jades
- 1,000,000: 60 Stellar Jades
- 1,600,000: 60 Stellar Jades
- 2,200,000: 60 Stellar Jades
- 6,200,000: One-Year Anniversary Commemoration Pom-Pom Avatar
As for the overall rewards, here’s what you get when the community hits certain rates.
- 25%: 160 Stellar Jades
- 50%: 160 Stellar Jades
- 75%: 200 Stellar Jades
- 100%: Cosmodyssey Phone Wallpaper
You also get 60 Stellar Jades for filling out the 50 Survey questions as you play through the event.
