So when you find an affected TV, you’ll might a “key enemy.” Like the humanoid trash can opponents faced earlier in Penacony, these will have a Mutation Mechanic that adds the type of damage characters in your party inflict to that foe’s weakness when you attack them the first time. Each stage will also have a unique buff tied to certain actions. Once the first four stages are done, the fifth stage features a mastermind “boss” fight and ability to carry over two buffs from past stages. However, to start any of these activities the last submission in the Penacony “The Sound and the Fury” storyline, which is called “Whodunnit.”

As for the rewards, an image highlighted some of the things people will get. 500 Primogems and one Tracks of Destiny will be doled out for completing the new tasks. People will also get an unspecified number of Credits, Lost Crysals, Refined Aethers, Relic Remains, and Traveler’s Guides.

The new event isn’t the only thing coming to Honkai: Star Rail on February 29, 2024. That’s also when new character banners will appear. People will be able to get the new five-star Sparkle  or pick up Jing Yuan if someone missed him. Note that the Black Swan and Dan Heng IL banners will also end the same day as the Sparkle and Jing Yuan ones begin.
