HoYoVerse shared a trailer introducing the new playable Chrysos Heir Hysilens (Helektra), and it teases the new story involving her and the Traveler Stelle and role of Cerydra as a villain in it. Both characters will be playable after 3.5 arrives.
The Hysilens trailer began by establishing her identity. She’s a sea siren who left the ocean. Once she did, she met the Traveler Stelle. The two then went around the city, with Stelle introducing Hysilens to various concepts. However, word of the siren reached the Imperator Cerydra, who sent her troops after the two of them.

This Hysilens Honkai: Star Rail trailer further built up similarities between Cerydra and Furina from Genshin Impact. Both are characters with blue color schemes. Each one features a person in a position of power. In both cases, they’re initially hostile against the player character. Also, like Furina, she’s strongly associated with the law of the land and doling out judgment, with her acting as the Imperator and apparently being behind the exile.
Honkai: Star Rail is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the 3.5 patch will arrive on August 13, 2025.
