Honkai Star Rail Pre-Registration Opens, 20 Gacha Pulls Can Be Earned

Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd creator HoYoverse kicked off Honkai Star Rail pre-registration. This is its newest PC and mobile game featuring a gacha with new characters. Unlike the other two, it is a turn-based RPG and is set among the stars. The company also confirmed the various tiers of rewards people can unlock by pre-registering. If met, new players will start off with 20 opportunities to pull on the gacha in-game.

Here’s HoYoVerse’s announcement, with a link that takes people to the Honkai Star Rail pre-registration page.

Here’s the full list of tiers. People can check the current pre-registration status on the official homepage. As of 9am ET on February 10, 2023, over 1,751,000 people registered. This means people are guaranteed 50,000 Credits and three Star Rail Passes to pull on the gacha.

  • 500,000 Pre-registrations: 50,000 Credits
  • 1,000,000 Pre-registrations: 3 Star Rail Passes for gacha pulls
  • 2,000,000 Pre-registrations: Trailblazer Welcome player avatar
  • 3,500,000 Pre-registrations: Free four-star character Serval (Erudition Path, Lightning Type)
  • 5,000,000 Pre-registrations: 15 Star Rail Passes for gacha pulls

While those pre-registration rewards only add up to 18 gacha pulls, everyone can earn two more and an additional 50,000 Credits if the social media accounts for the game cumulatively hit 2,500,000 followers.

Right now, some people are already playing Honkai Star Rail via the final closed beta. That kicked off on PCs and mobile devices on February 10, 2023. If you applied to take part but still haven’t gotten any email about it, it is possible to check if you can take part. There’s an official site where you can check in on your status.

Honkai Star Rail is coming soon to PCs and mobile devices, with pre-registration open now. The final closed beta began on February 10, 2023.
