The four-stars who will have a rate-up are Sampo, Qingque, and Hanya. All three of these characters fit well with Sparkle’s kit. For reference, Sparkle’s kit really focuses on SP. Not only can she passively grant an extra SP, she can also help to recover it and boost DMG based on how many SP you’ve used. This matches well with Qingque, who is very SP-hungry, and Sampo, who needs to use his Skill every turn. Hanya, in the meantime, can also help to restore SP while also providing boosts to a single character.

Sparkle will be a five-star Quantum Harmony character. While she has appeared in the Penacony story in Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.0, Sparkle will become playable for the first time in the Phase II banner.

Meanwhile, Jing Yuan initially appeared in Phase II of Version 1.0 of the game. He is a five-star Lightning Erudition character, and his kit revolves around giving stacks to Lightning Lord, who can then deal damage to all characters on his turn.

Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on the PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. Sparkle and Jing Yuan will appear in the Honkai: Star Rail gacha from February 29, 2024 and the banners will end on March 26, 2024.
