The House of the Dead series is making a return to arcades, with a new Unreal Engine 4-developed game named House of the Dead: Scarlet Dawn. The game was announced by Sega, and will begin location testing in Japan next week, from January 19 to January 21. [Thanks, Inside Games]

The game cabinet utilizes gimmicks such as an air cannon and a vibrating seat, in order to add tension to the experience. The back of the cabinet also lights up, attracting viewers to watch you feed in tokens.

Sega opened a Twitter account for the game, as well as an official site. House of the Dead: Scarlet Dawn will be available for Arcades, and will begin location testing at Akihabara, Tokyo from January 19 to January 21.
