Back in January 2018, Sega announced House of the Dead: Scarlet Dawn, a new arcade game set after The House of the Dead 4. Its location test took place in Japan between January 19-21, 2018, but no localization had been announced. However, Sega Amusements, the branch that handles Sega arcade game releases outside of Japan, has confirmed it is coming soon to other regions.

The House of the Dead: Scarlet Dawn announcement was made via Twitter. Sega Amusements did not offer location test dates or launch information, but did say, “Coming soon to arcades.”

House of the Dead: Scarlet Dawn follows AMS agents Kate Green, who first appeared in The House of the Dead 4, and Ryan Taylor, a new character who is the younger brother of The House of the Dead 2 and 4’s James Taylor. The two are sent on a mission that invariably ends up involving zombies.
