Persona 3 Reload has received a new extended story scenario. Episode Aigis -The Answer- is promising to expand on the Persona 3 Reload narrative with a brand new campaign centered around Aigis, one of P3R’s essential characters. With how long of a game Persona 3 Reload is, you might be wondering: how long does it take to beat Episode Aigis? Here’s what to expect, and a rough approximation of how long it’ll take to hit credits.
Episode Aigis has no Calendar System or Social Links
The DLC won’t feature any social sim mechanics the base game had. Episode Aigis doesn’t have any social links to worry about, and there aren’t a finite amount of days to play through. Players will plunge into the Abyss of Time, and dungeon crawl to their hearts’ content in order to push the narrative forward. Completing sections of the Abyss of Time will advance the story. Without social links and day-to-day activities, your total playtime in Episode Aigis is going to be significantly less than in the base Persona 3 Reload.
Episode Aigis has Five Difficulty Options
Your playthrough is going to vary in length depending on your individual playstyle, and whichever difficulty you choose to play the DLC at. Easier difficulties are going to be faster, but as enemy health scales with difficulty, battles are going to last that much longer for you. You might be able to finish faster by importing the compendium from one of your Persona 3 Reload saves. Doing so will give you access to stronger Personas early-on, allowing you to blitz past harder challenges, but importing is disabled on the “Heartless” difficulty.
Episode Aigis Features Optional Content
Despite its straightforward campaign, Episode Aigis does feature the return of Elizabeth’s Requests, a string of bonus challenges players can opt to do while they’re exploring the Abyss of Time. Depending on whether or not you’re interested in completing all of these requests, as well as filling out your entire compendium and challenging the DLC’s secret boss, your playtime is going to change.
Keeping all of this in mind, players have been reporting a minimum 16 hours to beat Episode Aigis on How Long to Beat, but reports are still early and this number is going to fluctuate over time. Still, it’s a solid baseline for what to expect from your own playthrough, give or take a few hours based on the aforementioned factors.
