How Many Players Can be in a Diablo IV Party

Diablo IV features multiplayer that will allow you to party up with friends, or random players you can encounter on the world map. However, there is a limit as to how many people can join your group as you tackle Nightmare Dungeons, explore the open world, and fight the hordes of the Burning Hells.

So what is the maximum number of players that can be in a Diablo IV party?

Much like Diablo III, Diablo IV will only allow up to four people to join your party. This means you can only tackle content in groups of four, outside of World Bosses and World Events, where EXP is shared between all participants, whether they are in a party or not. Parties can be made up of any class combinations, so this means you can have a party of four Necromancers with all of their skeletons and golem summoned.

Additionally, players can create and join clans to find other players to party up with for harder content. While not necessary, it does help to join other players for World Bosses and Nightmare Dungeons. This content can be solo’d, but it goes a lot faster with a well equipped group and players also get an EXP bonus for grouping up depending on how many party members you have.

Diablo IV is available on the PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
