Summon Night is coming back in a big way starting with enhanced versions of Summon Night 3 and Summon Night 4 for PSP. Famitsu has a feature on the two title, which says developer Felistella is adding a new brave battle system into the game. Players can earn Brave Medals by beating battles under specific conditions. This sounds like an update of the Brave Clear system from Summon Night 3.

The PSP versions will also have additional guest characters you can use. A new feature called Summon Assist lets units cooperate to summon a creature which can increase the familiar’s rank in battle. Summon Night 3 and Summon Night 4 will have multiple difficult levels and a damage prediction meter so players have more information when planning their attack.

Other new features include extra event illustrations, more special attacks, and a gallery mode where you can replay conversations or endings.

Summon Night 3 is slated for release on October 4. Summon Night 4 slides into stores a month later on November 15.
