How to Add Sockets to Gear in Diablo IV

Add Sockets Diablo IV

Diablo IV will let players add sockets to gear in a way that is no longer randomized. Unlike Diablo III, where you would need to re-roll passives on items to potentially obtain sockets, players can instead just speak to a Jeweler to add to their gear. It will only cost a bit of gold and a Scattered Prism. This system is arguably much easier than how it appeared in Diablo III and will allow for players to create early game builds a bit easier.

However, keep in mind that Scattered Prisms are fairly rare drops and are mostly only dropped by World Bosses. They can be obtained through other methods, but this is arguably one of the most reliable ways. Additionally, players can only interact with Jewelers once they have reached level 20. But once you have reached level 20 you can then proceed to add sockets to your gear in Diablo IV. The first Jeweler is found in Kyovashad, and is found beside the Rings and Amulet merchant.

You can find the location of the Jeweler in Kyovashad below.
