In Version 2.7 of Honkai: Star Rail, HoYoVerse gave us the option of changing what outfit Pom-Pom wears on the train. Here’s how to give your trusty conductor some new clothes.
First things first, you need to complete the “Cosmic Home Decor Guide” quest. This is the quest line that unlocks your own room in the Astral Express, as well as lets you decorate it. During this quest, Pom-Pom will come visit you while wearing a chef outfit. After you finish the entire quest line, a new quest, “Pom-Pom of Many Faces” will open up for you.
In order to start “Pom-Pom of Many Faces,” you need to go to the Party Car of the Astral Express. This is a new area that HoYoVerse introduced in Version 2.7. You should already be familiar with it, since this was where you needed to visit for the “Cosmic Home Decor Guide” quest. Near the back of the carriage, you’ll find Pom-Pom standing in what looks like a fitting room. Talk to them here, and you’ll be able to change their clothes.
If you decide to change their outfit in Honkai Star Rail, Pom-Pom will wear it when you go visit them in the Parlor Car. More outfits will appear in future updates.
