How to Change Your Appearance in Palia

Palia has a fairly extensive character creator, allowing players to pick from more than a handful of faces, hairstyles, eye colors and more. You can change these features at any time, proven you have the right items or access to them.

How to Change Your Appearance in Palia

You can change your appearance in Palia one of two ways. This involves building a wardrobe of any variety and placing it in your home. Here you can change your clothing, hairstyle, and certain features with the exception of your face, skin, and eye color. You can also do this at a friend’s house, as you basically just need access to any wardrobe to change up your outfit.

The second method is by going to Jel’s Shop in Kilima Village. There is a large mirror in the center of his shop that allows you to change everything about your appearance once a week. Once you access the mirror and confirm your changes, the mirror will be on a seven day cooldown.

Thankfully, changing your clothes or adding accessories (and even facial hair!) isn’t limited to the mirror at Jel’s shop. You can mix and match clothing, hairstyles, and accessories as much as you like, freely and without charge.

This also extends to hair color, facial hair color, and the color of your attire. Unless, of course, you want to purchase some premium outfits. This can also be done in Jel’s Shop by accessing the register or by pressing I and opening up the Premium Store. Palia has a lot of different free clothing options, however, which allows for players to express themselves without purchasing these outfits.

Palia is available for PC and will release for Nintendo Switch sometime in 2023.
