In Genshin Impact, managing how far into pity you are can be the deciding factor on whether you pull on that shiny new banner or not. Depending on how close you are to a guaranteed banner 5-star, you might want to consider skipping. Fortunately, finding out how how your pity for Genshin Impact is an easy thing to check.
How to check your pity rate in Genshin Impact
First, let’s look at just how pity works in Genshin Impact. Every 90 Wishes on the Standard Wish or Character Event Wish will guarantee you a 5-star. Every 80 Wishes on the Weapon Event Wish will net you a 5-star Weapon. There is also a pity for 4-stars, and that’s every 10 Wishes. Of course, it’s possible to pull a 5-star before you hit these numbers. That is the ideal situation. If that happens, the count will reset. Checking your pity should really only be to see how close you are to hard pity (the 90th pull) or when seeing how lucky (or unlucky) you’ve been. It can also be a useful tool to calculate how many more Primogems you need to farm in order to guarantee your next 5-star. You don’t want to “build pity” and accidentally get a character you don’t want, after all.
