How to Complete the Photo Requests for New Outfits in Stellar Blade

The latest update to Stellar Blade not only added Photo Mode but some new outfits to show off in your photos. To unlock the four new outfits, a series of quests have all been added to test your selfie taking skills. To find these quests, simply visit the Bulletin Board on the eastern side of Xion to access the quests.

How to Unlock FourSeconds Everyday Wear (Photography Club)

This requires you to take one photo, and it’s an easy one. Simply head to the square at the north point of Xion and enter selfie mode. Point the camera so the giant globe structure is visible and wait for the camera to scan it. Return to the Bulletin Board and you get your new outfit.

The remaining quests are nowhere near as simple as the first one. Each requires you to take ten photos of some graffiti that has appeared. These are scattered across each open map in Stellar Blade and finding them all gets you a new outfit. For the first of these requests you need to find the cat pictures across Xion and take a selfie with each one. This is not too difficult as Xion is a small space and most of the cats are mostly in visible places.

Here are all the locations of the cats, with the map above showing where to look (marked as stars):

  • Vibrant Cat – this can be found in the passageway that leads to the Great Desert elevator. At the top of the last set of stairs going down, look high above the elevator to see the cat among the greenery.
  • Rare Cat – the entrance to the underground bar, where you can find the side quest involving the singer.
  • Flamboyant Cat – in one of the tires below Barry’s shop in the north square.
  • Cute Cat – near the Bulletin Board, there is a tunnel to the northwest, the cat is on a pipe at the top of this tunnel (you’ll need to take a picture from the entrance to get both the cat and Eve in shot).
  • Graceful Cat – the hardest to find of them all. Cross the bridge out of Xion until you reach the fork between the Safe House and Wasteland exit. Look to the right while facing the fork and you’ll see a rope hanging off the side of the ledge. Climb down and you’ll find this cat on a rock at the bottom of the path.
  • Precious Cat – head down the left alleyway while facing the hair salon and you’ll see this on a building on the right.
  • Joyful Cat – on the walkway above Sister’s Junk, next to a barbed wire fence.
  • Pure Cat – first street on the left after entering Xion.
  • Mysterious Cat – head down the path towards the Wasteland, and once you’re inside the cave, turn around and you’ll see this on the wall to the right.
  • Dreaming Cat – on the back of the fridge next to Lily’s workshop.

How to Unlock FourSeconds Black Denim (Like Butterflies)

To get the third new outfit in Stellar Blade, you must venture into the Wasteland to find butterflies. These aren’t too difficult to find, but a few might elude you more than others.

Here is the full list, and the locations are marked on the map above with heart markers:

  • Vibrant Butterfly – next to the Solar Tower camp, you can drop down a series of ledges and then lower a rope into the Great Canyon. Down here, enter the shipwreck to the west, on the higher ledge, and the butterfly can be seen high up on a pile of shipping containers.
  • Rare Butterfly – inside the entrance to the Solar Tower
  • Flamboyant Butterfly – check the photo and then look to the west of the Solar Tower to see a similar billboard. The butterfly is on the other side.
  • Cute Butterfly – far to the west of the Scrap Yard, there is a narrow strip of land heading northwards. The butterfly is at the end on some crates.
  • Graceful Butterfly – on the far east of the map, behind a waypoint there is a ruined building you can climb into and find this.
  • Precious Butterfly – to the east of the Central Scrap Plains camp, you’ll see a building with a distinct round structure. Just south of this is some wreckage that hides the butterfly.
  • Joyful Butterfly – from the Junkyard camp, follow the red wallruns to the north and turn around after climbing a hill.
  • Pure Butterfly – next to the waypoint for Graceful Butterfly, there is a pit that leads down to a tough boss fight. The butterfly is a short way down the pit.
  • Mysterious Butterfly – behind the DG billboard north of the Central Scrap Plains camp.
  • Dreaming Butterfly – at the Plant fishing hole, head up some stairs to find this.

How to Unlock War Dress (Pisces)

Pisces is an extremely difficult quest to complete. To get the new War Dress outfit, you need to find fish graffiti across the biggest map in Stellar Blade. The clues provided are unhelpful and often a little too generic. This one is likely to give you some trouble.

Here are all the locations of the fish, with map locations (marked as fish, obviously) above:

  • Vibrant Fish – head to the Oasis, and you’ll find this among Clyde’s random bits of junk.
  • Rare Fish – south of the Oasis, head towards the highway bridge. Where it ends, there is a platform, and a crate next to a rock nearby. Move this crate next to the support beam to find a route up to the platform, where you’ll find the fish (be careful, the chest can obscure it).
  • Flamboyant Fish – head to the western wall near the exit to Xion, and follow it north and climb the rocks at the side. You’ll reach a sliding handhold on a wall and a series of drones to jump across. Use these drones to reach a door on the far side and you’ll find the fish inside a room.
  • Cute Fish – on the side of the Hypertube, just north of the western wall after it curves.
  • Graceful Fish – on the side of a wrecked ship in the far northwest of the Great Desert.
  • Precious Fish – to the north of the Abandoned Overpass camp, there is a rock ridge with poison enemies on top of it. Head around to find a way up there and head west to see the fish hidden on a lower ledge.
  • Joyful Fish – go to the Debris-Filled Entryway camp and enter the fenced-off area next to it. Head to the opposite side to find a low platform with a crate on it. Use this crate to reach some handholds on the west wall, which lead to a parkour sequence that takes you to the fish.
  • Pure Fish – inside the Buried Ruins, there is a ladder that leads to a tough boss fight. South of that ladder is a ruined building with a rope hanging. Head up, kill the enemy here and you’ll see the fish.
  • Mysterious Fish – there is a crumbled building near the Opera House with a gap containing a cinema sign. Head right from this sign to find a small passage with the fish (this one’s tricky to take a picture of due to the cramped space).
  • Dreaming Fish – north of the Opera House is a puzzle in a parking lot. Just in front of that parking lot is a pile of trash and a fish.
