Weaver’s Grasp is one of the most versatile spells in your arsenal, but to upgrade it and lift heavier things you’ll need to harvest a beefy foe that wields telekinesis of its own. Luckily it isn’t as difficult as it seems if you know what to break, so here’s How to Defeat and Harvest the Rehnland Sledgewyrm in Eternal Strands.
How to Defeat the Rehnland Sledgewyrm in Eternal Strands
The good news is, due to its quadrupedal body type the Rehnland Sledgewyrm is easier to climb about than some of the bipedal monsters you’ll have encountered in Eternal Strands. Where it makes up for that is in its ability to use kinetic magic to throw you and other objects around, so you might want to wear some heavier armor to both resist some damage and stop it throwing you as far.

One particularly annoying attack involves it sucking you in before slamming its head down, doing lots of damage. Because it’s very difficult to resist the pull you’ll need to dodge-roll just as the spell stops and the wyrm begins to slam, which can require a bit of time to learn the timing of. It may also put up a purple bubble that throws you outwards, as well as lifting up three objects before throwing them. These two often work in your favor, as the thrown objects are much easier to dodge when you’re far away and can also be blocked with your shield or caught with Weaver’s Grasp (though you’ll still need a higher spell level for the larger objects). You can tell when it’s getting ready to use big magic attack because the crests along its back and legs will glow orange, and smashing these will cause it to use its magic far less.
Several of its other slam attacks will have a blue effect around them sometimes that will cause you to be sent flying further, and it also just likes to bull rush you when you’re not expecting it. Try to stick between it’s legs and climb over it to avoid a lot of these, and you can also pin or slow it with enough ice to keep away from the head. Do watch out of the tail, though, as it has a few slam attacks of its own.

The Sledgewyrm has a lot of breakable parts which can drop materials, either when broken or when the beast itself is slain. Be sure to smash up some of its skin sections to get some good leather parts for your own armor.
How to Harvest the Rehnland Sledgewym in Eternal Strands
Remember those glowing, magic crests along the wyrm’s back? You’ll be needing to smash those to reveal the locus on its tail. Not being metal they actually break fairly easily without having to temper them, and if you have a good greatsword crafted they’ll often crumble from just two charged attacks. While you only need to break the ones along its back to reveal the locus, you should break the ones on the legs too as otherwise it can still use magic to throw you off during the harvest. Otherwise, the Rehnland Sledgewyrm is one of the simpler enemies to harvest in Eternal Strands.
