How to Evolve Long Gun to Prototype A in Vampire Survivors

Operation Guns puts the run-and-gun into Vampire Survivors, and you’ll need to unlock the Long Gun and evolve it into Prototype A to get that full experience. However, first you need to unlock a certain DLC character.

This is basically a two step process. First, after buying the DLC, you need to head to the Neo Galuga map. You need to reach the northeast corner. A coffin is there, designated by a question mark as usual. Touching it unlocks Bill Rizer as a playable character.

You then need to start a new run as Bill Rizer. I recommend doing so on Neo Galuga. That’s because you can accomplish the goal as of unlocking the Long Gun for all characters as a level-up reward in Vampire Survivors, as well as getting to evolve it to the Prototype A form.

How do I evolve the Long Gun into Prototype A in Vampire Survivors Operation Guns?

It is incredibly easy to evolve a Long Gun into Prototype A, provided you picked Bill Rizer and went to Neo Galuga in Vampire Survivors. Right after you start roaming the map, head for one of the Weapon Power-Up pick-ups littered across the level. These are the items that look like little grey suitcases. All you need to do is grab one to fulfill the evolve requirements.

From there, fully level up and max out the Long Gun weapon. Once you hit the cap, defeat bosses until they drop treasure chests. One of them should randomly give you Prototype A, which powers up the gun and includes two drones that hover behind your playable character.

Vampire Survivors and the Operation Guns DLC are available on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices.
