One of the newest additions to Astro Bot is a bot version of Eve from Stellar Blade. She can be easily found in the newest DLC level, added as part of the Stellar Speedway Galaxy.
Where to Find Eve from Stellar Blade in Astro Bot
Eve is automatically unlocked by completing the Let It Slide level in Astro Bot, located in the Stellar Speedway Galaxy. This is part of the latest update to the game, added on October 24, 2024. If the level isn’t showing up, check that you have the latest update installed.
The Stellar Speedway can now be found in the north-east portion of the Space Map, just up and to the right of the Gorilla Nebula. Let It Slide is the top-left level in the galaxy and features the elephant powerup on its preview.
Like all the new DLC levels, this is a time trial level, designed to test your speed. However, all you need to do is get to the end of the level once to unlock Eve from Stellar Blade.
Tips for Completing the Let It Slide Level
Let It Slide is built around the elephant powerup, which allows you to suck up liquids and create new platforms where you choose. This is an ice level, so all the spots to suck up liquid will grant you the ability to create an ice platform.
One of the key things to remember with this level is that constantly moving forward on ice gives you good momentum, so you’ll want to try and maintain it. If you can avoid gliding, do so, as the momentum from the ice will keep you at a higher speed.
In addition, the ice platforms you can create are also long slopes, so don’t be afraid to use them as ramps to keep up this momentum. They’re also extremely useful at skipping portions of the level. If the level geometry moves around a corner, feel free to create an ice platform that cuts across it.
One spot this is especially useful is the high platform near the middle of the level. There is a bounce pad trapped under ice that will help you reach it, but breaking this takes time. However, if you skip the corner with an ice platform, you can easily glide over to this platform without touching the bounce pad.
I also had trouble with the final set of platforms, as they’re placed in strange intervals apart from each other. However, if you can save an ice platform or two for this section, you can cut straight over most of it and glide easily to the exit.
Once you reach the end, regardless of your time, Eve from Stellar Blade will join the Astro Bot crew.
Astro Bot and Stellar Blade are both out now for PS5.
