While you cannot sell fish through the shipping container, you can easily catch them and sell them to Van for a hefty sum, should you collect enough before he makes his rounds through Forgotten Valley again. You can check when Van will set up shop at the calendar inside of your house. It will be marked with a stamp of his face. He’s usually there every 3rd and 8th.
Additionally, fish can be used to make Cooked Dishes, which can be gifted to villagers and potential romance interests.
