What to Use Prismatic Shard for

Once you get Prismatic Shard in Stardew Valley, there are quite a few legendary uses for it. Perhaps the most important use for the Prismatic Shard is the ability to get one of the most powerful swords in the game, the Galaxy Sword, which you can then turn into the Infinity Sword. It also unlocks other Galaxy tools in the process. You get this in the desert.

But there are still other uses for the Prismatic Shard that are worth mentioning:

  • Use Prismatic Shards at the Sewing Machine to make Prismatic Clothing
  • Unlock the Movie Theater via the Missing Bundle
  • Can be used at the Witch’s Hut to get rid of children (dark, I know)
  • Buy Magic Rock Candy at the Desert Trader on Thursdays
  • Donate to Gunther at the Museum
  • Universally loved gift for every single NPC except Haley
  • Can be used to make a Wedding Ring for marriage to another player in multiplayer

Stardew Valley is available right now for Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
