How to get chickens, cows, and sheep in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life
Players can immediately purchase cows, chicken, and sheep at the beginning of Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life. This can be done at the blue ledger found next to the box where you ship your produce and animal products to sell at the farm. However, you do start with one free cow when the game begins.

Cows:
- Normal Cow (Male) – 2,500 Coins
- Normal Cow (Female) – 5,000 Coins
- Brown Cow (Male) – 10,000 Coins
- Brown Cow (Female) – 20,000 Coins
- Marble Cow (Male) – 10,000 Coins

- Star Cow (Male) – 25,000 Coins

In terms of what animals to invest in, I’d say chickens are a good short-term investment.
Cows are always a reliable source of income, so long as you can continue to invest in breeding your cows so that they become a constant source of milk. Milk is arguably one of the most profitable animal products, even as a raw material, and can help you make a decent amount of coin in the early game. Later on, it can be used to make butter or cheese. Both take more time to process, but are also items you can sell for a sizable sum.
Just remember each type of animal needs to be fed twice per day!
