There is some positive news when it comes to the Desert Yellow Dye in FFXIV. It is one of the easiest dyes to get in the game, as there are a variety of ways to obtain it. Below, we are going to break down each method you can use to get your hands on the item easily.

NPC Vendors

Desert Yellow is one of the few dyes you are able to get in FFXIV without having to craft it. All you need to do is head to the right NPCs, and you can purchase a single dye for a mere 216 Gil. Of course, you’ll probably need several of these, though, for your entire outfit.

Here are all of the locations of the NPCs who will sell you some Desert Yellow Dye instantly:

• Unsynrael – Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks X: 6.0, Y: 12.3
• Alaric – Old Gridania X: 14.3, Y: 8.8
• Nanabe – Ul’dah – Steps of Thal X: 14.2, Y: 11.0
• Eilonwy – The Firmament (Ishgard) X: 12.2, Y: 14.2
• Frine – The Pillars (Ishgard) X: 6.0, Y: 9.9
