How to Get Fabric in Palia

In order to get fabric players will need to progress the game far enough to where they have obtained their house. This is done through basic progression, and you can’t really do much of anything until you’ve built your home up from the humble tent you’ve started with.

Now you will need two things in order to create fabric. This includes a Fabric Loom and cotton. Cotton seeds can be purchased from Zeki’s Shop in Kilima Village for 40 Gold at any hour of the day. All you need to do is interact with the cash register and you can buy cotton seeds. It takes them a total of five in-game days to grow before they can be harvested.

After you’ve harvested your cotton you will then need to put it into the Fabric Loom in order to create fabric. The Fabric Loom requires the following ingredients to craft at your Crafting Table.

  • 15 Sapwood Planks
  • 20 Plant Fiber
  • 2 Copper Bars
  • 5 Ceramic

Sapwood Planks can be made through the Basic Sawmill and by wood harvested from the trees around your homestead and Palia. Both Clay and Copper Bars can be mined in the same area. You will know when a mining node has copper in it based on whether or not you see copper sticking out of it.

Clay is needed to create ceramic and can be found by Fisherman’s Lagoon. Both of these items can then be created in the Basic Smelter. And that’s how you can get your hands on Fabric! It’s a lengthy process, but overall it’s fairly easy to obtain. It just takes time, which means you can busy yourself with collecting other materials or log out as your Fabric Loom processes your cotton into Fabric.

Palia is available for PC and will release for Nintendo Switch sometime in the future.
