Some of the most powerful weapons in Vampire Survivors are the result of an evolution, so here’s how to get Gorgeous Moon Pentagram combo upgrade in Vampire Survivors.
Which items do I need to unlock to get Gorgeous Moon in Vampire Survivors?
The Gorgeous Moon is a powerful weapon that completely erases all but the most powerful boss monsters on screen. Additionally, it also generates extra experience gain for enemies killed this way. Because of this, Gorgeous Moon can seriously raise your level by the end of a run.
Gorgeous Moon is the result of evolving the Pentagram. Evolution in Vampire Survivors works when a weapon combines with a catalyst passive item to create a new weapon. The passive item in the case of the Gorgeous Moon is the Crown.
To unlock the Crown, you’ll first need to reach level 10. To get the Pentagram, you have to stay alive for 20 minutes.
How does the Pentagram evolution work in Vampire Survivors?
Unlocking the Pentagram and the Crown gives you both halves of Gorgeous Moon. First, you’ll want to pick up both the Pentagram and Crown during your run. Once you have both, immediately start prioritizing leveling the Pentagram. I recommend using Christine as your character, as she starts with a Pentagram, though you do need to get the Pentagram to level 7 in a run to unlock her first.
You’ll need to level up the Pentagram to level eight. Luckily, the crowns boost in EXP gain, which can help with this. However, given the Pentagram’s chance of removing items and EXP, make sure you get it max quickly. (Don’t worry, as Gorgeous Moon doesn’t have this issue.) Once the Pentagram has reached level eight and you have the crown, you’ll need to open an evolution-eligible chest. Boss monsters spawning from the 10-minute mark onward typically drop these chests. Opening the chest has a chance of getting the Gorgeous Moon evolution for the Pentagram.
