Fantasian Neo Dimension has tons of locked treasure chests that are sprinkled throughout the massive world. The locked chests require special keys to open them up. These locked treasure chests require players to get special keys like the Iron and Mechteria Keys to obtain their elusive rewards in Fantasian.

How to Get Iron Chest Keys in Fantasian

The first type of chests and keys you will likely come across are Iron Keys. These go to the iron treasure chests, which are the wooden boxes with the iron chains locked around them. To get Iron Keys, though, you will probably have to wait a bit. In my experience, the best way to get Iron Keys is from defeating certain bosses.

If you continue the story, you will come across various bosses that will drop the Iron Keys as rewards. That said, it is possible to find this item in the world from normal enemies, but this is extremely rare. In addition, there is the chance of getting an Iron Key from side quests, but this is also pretty elusive. Be sure to use your Iron Keys as soon as you find one because these chests usually contain powerful items or weapons.

How to Get Mechteria Chest Keys in Fantasian

The situation for finding Mechteria Keys for its treasure chests is largely the same as Iron Keys in Fantasian. For this one, it is same idea of mostly finding these keys when you win certain key battles in the main story. That said, I have also gotten Mechteria Keys from defeating the Cinderella Tri Stars optional boss trio.

This ridiculous set of siblings give these Mechteria Keys in some of their fights. You can note Mechteria treasure chests by the white chest that looks futuristic and made of metal. Like the iron chests, Mechteria chests give some of the best items and weapons in the first half of the JRPG. So, be sure to open them up when you have keys. Note that the game will mark locked chests you discover on the map, so it is easier to backtrack and find one.
